Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Accountant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The primary function of this role is to support all aspects of the revenue process, job cost accrual, and month-end accounting. The successful candidate will be working closely with the client services team to support revenue recognition and will play a key role in ensuring accurate recognition and cost accrual policies are followed. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain financial controls within the accounting department • Coordinate and direct revenue recognition in accordance with established protocols • Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures • Support management in commercial and financial matters • Interface with client services teams to monitor revenue recognition and project timelines • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards • Support the FP& A team in providing financial reports to senior leadership Pay is $65k-$85k + medical, dental and paid time off Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with BlackLine software is essential • Familiarity with Cerner Technologies • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Experience with ERP Solutions • Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting • Proven experience in Auditing • Ability to perform Billing Functions efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
