Revenue Accounting Dentention Specialists are responsible for determining and applying detention charges.

Analyze freight bills to determine appropriate detention chargesUtilize tools for calculation of detention while adhering to rules and contractsRespond to customer disputes on detention charge calculationAudit accounts and resolve problemsRespond to internal and external customer’s inquiries via phone or emailContinuously improve processes Qualifications

2 years of related accounting, logistics or transportation experience

Associates Degree in Accounting is a plus, but not required

Experience in transportation highly recommended, but not required

Strong organization skills

Attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork, initiative, and customer service skills

Ability to identify and manage project and continuous improvement initiatives
