Revenue Accounting Manager

The Test & Measurement (T&M) business unit, formerly known as National Instruments, is seeking a Manager of Global Revenue Accounting. This position is integral to partnering with all stakeholders involved in our revenue recognition processes. We are looking for a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of ASC 606 and a demonstrated ability to apply these standards effectively in a rapidly evolving business environment.
 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Manages a global team of revenue analysts responsible for T&M revenue accounting and reporting under US GAAP Ensures the timely and accurate financial reporting for both corporate and internal management Oversees the timely and accurate completion of SOX compliance controls for revenue and deferred revenue Oversees the deferred revenue forecasting on multiple internal metrics Manages corporate and statutory audit requests associated with revenue Leads the global revenue accounting team in the developing and executing effective interlock strategies with other Accounting and Finance Operation groups, including GL accounting and Global Credit and AR Develops training and development plans to ensure global accounting team maintains up-to-date knowledge of accounting and reporting requirements for revenue under US GAAP, continuing to serve as subject matter experts  Excellent organizational and communication skills Detailed oriented with the ability to understand the big picture Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to consistently meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities with ease Drive for results and outcomes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong customer focus Innovative, adaptive and seeks continuous improvement Knowledge development and coaching
    For This Role, You Will Need: CPA required 6+ years accounting experience (Big 4; Big 4 + industry preferred) Technical accounting expert and demonstrated ASC 606 experience
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience with Oracle and Tableau preferred
