Overview The Revenue Analyst, working with the Regional Director of Revenue Management, Regional Vice President of Revenue Management and Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing assists with performance and revenue metrics at the micro-market level to help determine optimal price points and inventory allocations to maximize revenue growth and total occupancy. The Revenue Analyst position provides the opportunity to monitor and evaluate market trends in order to understand the value of hotel products from consumers’ perceptions and accurately align pricing programs, placement and availability within each market segment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurate preparation and distribution of revenue reports. The reports include market segmentation analysis, pace reports, production reports, daily pick-up reports, etc Researches, collects, manipulate and analyze data; draws inferences, summarizes and presents key findings to Management for assigned topics. Foster a cooperative working relationship with local competitor hotels in order to promote referrals as well as to keep abreast of market demand and trends. Take and place reservations, ensuring correct information is input into the system. Reviews all reservations for accuracy regarding rates, room type, etc… Ensures reservations are guaranteed per hotel’s policy Participate in competitive and demand analyses Assist in forecasting, reviewing all competitive shops, reviewing demand, convention and city event calendars, maintaining data on competitor products and maintaining historical data on events and performance. Blocking rooms and distributing rooms and room types. Qualifications Experience, Skills and Knowledge Hotel experience is required At least one year of Reservations and/or revenue experience. Ability to use mathematical skills to interpret financial information. Ability to maintain consistency, diplomacy and tact in challenging situations. Work in collaboration with various departments and associates. Ability to format and write business letters, reports, and summaries using proper grammar, spelling, diction, and style. Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $60,000.00/Yr. - $60,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
