Revenue Audit Manager (Las Vegas)

JOB SUMMARY: 

Supports revenue reporting of revenue audits for Caesars Entertainment. Responsibilities may include supervision and completion of daily audit deliverables, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Assists the Senior Manager in the overall supervision of the Revenue Audit/Accounting department.

Supervisor – Revenue Audit Senior Auditor – Revenue Audit Auditor – Revenue Audit

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

Plans and assists the supervisors in Sportsbetting revenue audits which include reconciling, analyzing, recording, and reviewing documents for proper completion. Reviews journal entries as assigned. Maintain established acceptable regulatory procedures in revenue audit to effectively control the assets of the company and ensure regulatory compliance. Assists the Senior Revenue Audit Manager in assuring timely responses to internal and external audit recommendations. Manage the implementation of corrective action plans where needed. Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the Sportsbetting Revenue Audit department. Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to continue to create a more efficient process flow.  Apply knowledge and understanding of operations and audit procedures towards the goal of developing, counseling, training, and scheduling of supervisors, senior auditors and auditors.      

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry accounting experience required Understanding of regulatory requirements is required Understanding of SOX 404 and GAAP is required Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory and accounting/audit experience required Working knowledge of gaming systems preferred

Ability to supervise individuals and develop a strong working team Organized and detail oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to lead meetings and communicate with all levels of management and present a well groomed appearance Must be a team player in a professional environment and actively participate in departmental discussions by bringing suggestions, recommendations and efficiencies to the table Ability to adapt to new circumstances by understanding the changes and supporting management in communicating them in a positive manner Must be available to work weekends and holidays Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
