Responsible for AR follow-up and collection
Communicate with patients with billing inquiriesWork and manage claims from all aging buckets, including posting, appeals, and resubmissionsAppropriate adjustmentsResponsible for efficiently and accurately posting payments in the practice management system, including checks, EFT payments, online payments, and credit cardsPull EFT back-up (EOBs)Resolve payment research inquiriesReconcile payments posted using system and deposit reportsCommunicate with proper departments for any issues prohibiting adequate allocation for payments to be postedResponsible for generating quick bill statements for patient outstanding balancesProcess refundsQualifications:
High school graduate or equivalentExperience in a medical clinic setting, insurance follow-up, and coding and verificationExperienced in working with a large volume of electronic medical billing, collections, all aspects of the Revenue Cycle, and insurance coding and benefit verification preferredPrevious experience with medical software requiredTeam player attitude, energetic, and able to multi-task with a focus on excellent customer serviceMust be a self-starter with strong organizational skillsAbout P4 Physical Therapy:
