Description
The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Director is a professional who supports the mission, goals, and objectives of NoCo by providing RCM oversight and leadership to the organization. This includes managing the activities associated with the RCM function of the organization including managing billing staff, an outsourced RCM company, and electronic health record (EHR) billing resources for medical, behavioral health, and dental programs via two separate EHRs. The RCM Director ensures compliance with all Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial billing requirements; maintains and reviews all insurance contracts and negotiates new contracts and renewals; completes RCM data analytics monthly including completion of monthly RCM dashboards; reports out on data, evaluates data, and develops action plans for improvement communicating with various members of the organization to ensure various revenue and accounts receivable key performance indicators are met; manages the Sliding Fee Scale Program and the 340B Program.

Starting Salary: $76,000

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (FQHC experience strongly preferred). Knowledge of New York State FQHC billing practices, including sliding fee scale, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care. Exceptional proficiency with EHR and practice management systems (e.g., athena and Dentrix preferred); strong data analytics skills. Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory requirements, particularly for FQHCs. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization. Proficiency in financial reporting and revenue cycle metrics. Certifications (preferred but not required): Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
