Job Duties:

Understanding of (Medicare) Regulations Complete Prebill audits Recognize and update prebilling errors Submitting claims and following up on denials with the payers. Communication with peers and administration Understanding of payment regulations Post payments to patient accounts Submit patient invoices Other duties as set forth by supervisor

Requirements:

Prior experience in billing/collections preferred Must have a minimum basic knowledge of keyboarding, personal computers, and Microsoft Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook). Must have a strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate well; both verbally and in writing. Must work well both independently and in a group setting  Professional appearance   Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task  Positive, Professional attitude
