Revenue Cycle Manager
Description Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Manager with large healthcare company, located in El Segundo, California. The role involves overseeing Revenue Cycle Management responsibilities, managing a team, and collaborating with various teams to improve processes and reduce denied claims. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Handle the management of aged receivable balances by aging category, addressing outstanding balances greater than 1 year. • Lead a team of RCM associates, analysts, and offshore staff, focusing on clearinghouse portals, payor enrollment, and related dashboards and reporting. • Collaborate with payors, finance, and operations teams to identify process improvements and reduce denied claims. • Monitor regulations at the Federal, State, County levels, and lead integration projects for new acquisitions. • Develop and distribute weekly reporting on RCM denial metrics, presenting findings and proposed resolutions. • Manage the creation and development of ad hoc dashboards in Power BI, including aggregating revenues and hours analyses. • Oversee RCM metric reports, manage contract rates and compliance with wage updates. • Handle denial management efforts, utilizing judgment and experience to identify and execute write off uncollectible claims. • Be responsible for submitting annual minimum wage increase calculations, changes to rate studies implemented by payor sources, and securing finalized rate letters with all payors. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry. • Proficiency in the use of 3M software is required. • Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a must. • Should be well-versed with CRM tools and their usage. • Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is necessary. • Familiarity with Epic Software is crucial. • Should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Auditing skills are crucial for this role. • Proficiency in Billing Functions is necessary. • Should have a strong understanding of Budget Processes.
