Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Revenue Specialist on a contract to hire basis for a client of ours in the healthcare industry in the Orlando, FL area. This role focuses on managing medical claims, maintaining customer records, researching denials, and resolving customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner. Responsibilities: • Process and submit billing data to insurance providers efficiently. • Handle the completion of claims to payers with precision. • Undertake detail-oriented posting of charges. • Proactively resolve instances of denial. • Strive to achieve the highest reimbursement for the services provided. • Conduct audits and maintain a thorough report on various programs. • Carry out Medicare and Medi-Cal reviews diligently. • Deploy and maintain various programs related to medical billing and collections. Requirements • Possession of a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. • Minimum of three years experience in healthcare revenue cycle management. • Proficiency in medical billing and medical collections. • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes. • Excellent skills in customer service, problem-solving, and communication. • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems. • Proficiency in using healthcare billing software and tools. • Understanding of medical coding and classification systems. • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Willingness to keep up-to-date with changes in the healthcare industry.
