Revenue Integrity Charge Coordinator
Scotland Health Care System, a small hospital located in Laurinburg, NC, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Revenue Integrity Charge Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient billing and revenue cycle processes. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and optimizing revenue capture. The Revenue Integrity Charge Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services. Responsible for overseeing EPIC work queues for Hospital Billing and Physician Practice Billing charge review and claim review. Key Responsibilities: + Review and analyze patient charges to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding and billing guidelines. + Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve charge discrepancies and ensure proper documentation. + Monitor and audit charge capture processes to identify and correct errors. + Provide education and training to staff on charge capture and billing practices. + Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to revenue integrity. + Generate reports and analyze data to support revenue cycle improvement initiatives. + Responsible for credits. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, preferred + Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare billing, coding, or revenue cycle management. + Strong knowledge of medical coding and billing regulations, preferred. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
