PRIMARY PURPOSE
Responsible for identifying chargemaster charging issues and helping implement solutions to assure accurate charging for services provided within the CDM.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:
-Must have an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.

Experience:
-Must have at least three year experience in healthcare finance.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:
-None.

Skills or Special Abilities: -Must have effective communication skills and be able to understand and identify payer requirements, including Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding (HCPCS) and revenue codes.
-Position requires detailed-oriented individual, able to focus on details for long periods of time.
-Must be able to analyze data and make relevant use of the data.
-Applicant should possess strong computer skills, with knowledge of different databases, spreadsheets and word processing software.
-Knowledge of Epic patient accounting software is strongly preferred
