Revenue Manager

We are looking for a Revenue Manager to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open inQ3 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon.Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

Position Summary: The Revenue Manager is responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies to maximize the hotel's revenue and profitability during the pre-opening phase and beyond. This role involves analyzing market trends, setting pricing strategies, and optimizing room inventory to ensure the hotel's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Opening Planning: Develop and execute pre-opening revenue management strategies, including pricing, inventory control, and distribution channel management.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand demand patterns, competitor pricing, and market trends. Use this data to inform pricing and revenue strategies.Pricing Strategy: Set and adjust room rates based on demand, seasonality, special events, and competitor analysis. Implement yield management techniques to optimize revenue.Forecasting: Create detailed revenue forecasts and budgets. Monitor and adjust forecasts based on actual performance and market conditions.Inventory Management: Manage room inventory across various distribution channels, including OTAs, direct bookings, and travel partners. Ensure optimal room allocation to maximize occupancy and revenue.Performance Analysis: Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of revenue strategies with overall business goals.Training Development: Train and support the hotel team on revenue management principles and practices. Ensure all team members understand and adhere to revenue management strategies.System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of revenue management systems and tools. Ensure data accuracy and system functionality.

Experience with pre-opening hotels is a plus.Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and central reservation systems (CRS).
