Job DescriptionResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceManage demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the hotelMaximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels, managing inventory and rate accordinglyMonitor transient and group booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sourcesMonitor key indicators of hotel performance and third party intelligence sources to identify revenue opportunitiesLiaise with Reservations, Front Office and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained while maximizing profitEnsures accurate and timely preparation of analytical reportsPlay an active role in the strategic plan, marketing plan and budgeting processesStay current with industry changes and how it may impact demandPrepare and present weekly analytical reportsFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field (Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics).
Experience in brand hotels.
Strong knowledge in Opera PMS and other related systems, as well as Revenue Management.
Excellent command in English / additional language is an advantage.
Strong reporting and analytical skills.
Good analytical and numeric skills.
High level of organization and time management skill.
Working understanding of Revenue Management principles.
