To enable the continued growth and evolution of our Revenue Organization we are looking to add a Trainer to our internal Revenue Training and Enablement team. It is your mission to ensure our Revenue Team members are set up for success in achieving their quantitative and qualitative goals at Hireology. You will be responsible for increasing productivity and efficiency by developing the skills of our team, as well as identifying new opportunities based on market trends and the needs of the business. As education opportunities are identified, you will work cross-functionally to build new training content and ensure all of the materials are ready to be delivered. From there, you’ll deploy your coaching tactics and assess progress along the way. This position reports to the Manager of Revenue Training and Enablement.
As our Revenue Trainer you’ll be responsible for the following:
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and Deliver Training Programs:
Design and implement a 6-12 month ongoing vertical-specific training program tailored to departmental needs.
Deliver training content to Customer Success and Sales teams, focusing on topics such as process, discovery, objection handling, time management, and presentation skills.
New Hire Orientation:
Facilitate and manage the New Hire Orientation program, ensuring new hires are set up for success.
Continuously enhance and iterate on the program as needed.
Team Support and Ramp-Up:
Provide direct support to ramping team members, helping them achieve their targets during the onboarding period.
Collaboration with Leadership and Teams:
Serve as a crucial member of Revenue Leadership to maintain visibility on priorities, discuss upcoming training needs, and align on talent development and process changes.
Workshop and Boot-camp Facilitation:
Execute training programs, boot camps, and workshops to foster skill growth in both large and small group settings.
Shadowing and Coaching:
Shadow team members and provide coaching using assessment tools to track and enhance performance.
Instructional Design Expertise:
Apply instructional design principles to create and deliver effective training content tailored to adult learners.
Sales Systems Expertise:
Possess strong knowledge of sales systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, and other relevant tools to support training and skill-building.
Gap Analysis and Strategy Alignment:
Diagnose knowledge and process gaps, providing actionable recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
Enablement and Tools Mastery:
Partner closely with Operations to ensure mastery of internal tools and execute training needs effectively.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop and roll out enablement materials for the team.
Road map Development:
Build a road map that addresses current content and identifies gaps, ensuring a comprehensive approach to training and development.

Requirements:
3 + years of training and development within a revenue organization or other relevant role
Able to work in our downtown Chicago office Tuesday - Thursday
Experience using Salesforce, Gainsight, or other enablement tools preferred
Excellence in communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation
Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or priorities at once
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to build trust with and motivate others
Passion for helping others, driving sales results, and providing exceptional value
Experience with Cross-Departmental collaboration

This is a 12-month contractor position with the potential to transition to a permanent role. The salary range for this position is $35–$40/hour, depending on experience.
