Capabilities:
Perform detailed analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and static analysis of assembly code
Overcome anti-analysis techniques designed to evade detection to ascertain the functionality, capabilities, and call-backs of the malware Assist in attributing malicious activity to adversary infrastructure by analyzing malware characteristics and behaviors Identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) that are crucial for detecting and mitigating future threatsCreate comprehensive technical documentation of reverse engineering processes, findings, and insights Work closely with cybersecurity, intelligence, and IT teams to support incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessments Utilize existing tools and software effectively to improve analysis accuracy and efficiencyQualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
An Associate’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience will be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the positions.
Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
