ASML has recently established a dedicated reverse supply chain organization that enables re-using of materials in our supply chain. This relatively new team is looking for an enthusiastic team member that wants to drive and operationalize the reverse supply chain. This to ensure we re-use materials instead of buy new!
As a reverse supply chain planner, you will operationalize and drive the reverse supply chain process from an end-to-end perspective. You are responsible to plan for material repair or repurpose activities at our suppliers or factories in the most efficient way. You optimize the reverse supply chain process and driving for material re-use across our supply chain.
Role and responsibilitiesAs a reverse supply chain planner, you will:
Pro-actively plan for material returns from the factories and fieldDrive for repair and repurpose activities in the supply chain that support material availabilitySet-up, optimize, and execute new reverse supply chain flows, e.g. material harvesting, to enable optimal material re-use.Act as process owner for a dedicated reverse supply chain process(es)Manage your stakeholders to enable full material re-useSupport in driving performance improvement across our reverse supply chainEducation and experienceMaster degree (e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain management or Business Administration)3-6 years relevant proven experience in logistics or supply chain managementExperience in planning and Supply Chain Management processes in a high-tech, low-volume environmentExperience in driving material planningExperience in ERP (SAP ECC / HANA)Experience in complex work environment with multiple stakeholdersExperience with supply chain processes in production environmentSkillsTeam playerProcess orientedExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPro-active attitude, drive to continuously seek for improvementsCan do mentality, positive criticalFlexible, result driven and committed, ability to deal with resistance and organizational changes Relationship builder (internal and external)This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
