Job Description

We are seeking Mechanical Engineers & Mechanical Designers to join our client's growing Professional Design Services team in Conyers, GA. The projects serve clients in local and federal government, industrial, and corporate sectors. The mechanical engineers/designers work alongside a full-service, multidisciplinary team of professionals, in a fast-paced and passionate work environment; working to deliver comprehensive design consulting to our customers. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of related MEP design experience. The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of engineering professionals while supporting a range of multidisciplinary projects.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the design and renovation of military bases, defense installations, and specialized facilities worldwide.Work on various projects ranging from barracks to command centers, focusing on stringent security, operational, and sustainability requirements.Deliver comprehensive design consulting to clients in local and federal government, industrial, and corporate sectors.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a fast-paced work environment.Support a range of multidisciplinary projects and be mentored by a dynamic team of engineering professionals.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit.5+ years of related MEP design experience.Experience with Federal Projects, including Federal Facility Design and Military Installation Design.Understanding of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).Comfortable with heavy production design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in mechanical design and mechanical engineering.Familiarity with construction documents and processes.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong understanding of design, construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization criteria as per UFC documents.Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid and flexible, with the opportunity to work up to 80% remotely after completing a 90-day in-office training period. Day-to-day responsibilities involve heavy production design, working on multiple federal design projects at once, typically taking 6-9 months for the design phase. The company offers a newly renovated office space and has been in business for 30 years. The organization is a Small Business Administration and Service Disabled Veteran Owned entity, and is also a certified MBE and DBE in the US, with contracts ranging up to $40 million. There is a great mixture of projects for someone looking to grow their portfolio, with occasional site visits required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $57.00
