Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to join our team and support our current projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modeling electrical systems based on markup drawings or verbal directions provided by electrical detailers, setting up Revit views and sheets for shop drawings, and annotating and dimensioning shop drawings for field installation.
Responsibilities
+ Model electrical systems based on markup drawings and/or verbal direction provided by electrical detailers.
+ Set up Revit views and sheets in preparation for shop drawings.
+ Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation.
Skills/Qualifications
+ Proficiency in Revit with 2+ years of experience.
+ Experience in electrical design and low voltage systems.
+ Knowledge and experience with construction, blueprints, and architectural drawings.
+ Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
+ Associate’s degree (A.S.) in a computer design field preferred or equivalent technical school experience.
+ 2-5 years of experience in developing BIM models for M/E/P construction or systems manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD.
+ Complex problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced group atmosphere.
Work Environment
The role will primarily be based in the office, with some options for remote work. The candidate will collaborate with other BIM detailers on projects and will occasionally need to go on site visits. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, 5 sick days, 6 paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00
