Job Description
This Revit Drafter position is open as the team at a leading Modular Construction company continues to grow. This position will be based out of the South IN office, where the entire engineering and design team, including the drafting department, is located. The company operates with a flat structure, allowing individuals to manage their own projects from start to finish with support from the engineering manager as needed.
ResponsibilitiesCreate full, working plan sets for commercial modular construction, customer, and state approval in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.99% of designs are done in Revit.Interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and state agencies.Assist with shop drawings review as needed.Apply ICC Building code knowledge to ensure all designs are accurate and to code.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit (ability to draw in the software but does not need to be an expert).Proficiency in Excel (need to be able to manage documentation).Good communication ability (need to be able to collaborate with external and internal teams).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the construction industry with design or BIM or even hands-on knowledge of how buildings go together and the processes involved.Work Environment
The work environment includes typical hours of 7-4:30, with flexibility for earlier start times or overtime as self-sufficiency develops. The engineering team, finance team, and upper management work out of a collaborative office building with cubicles and offices. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
