Job Title: Revit DrafterJob Description

We are actively hiring for a Revit Drafter in South Whitley, IN! This position is open to support Modular Construction Design as the company continues to grow. This person will sit with the entire Engineering and Design team, including the Drafting Department, and will be able to learn and develop with their local partners. The company operates with a flat structure, allowing individuals to manage their own projects from start to finish with support from the Engineering Manager as needed. This team works on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and will self-perform the large majority of construction for their designs. They work with wood, steel framed, and concrete block buildings, specifically for the Structural, MEP, and Architectural elements of the buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic Revit proficiency to develop and grow within a strong team doing a large variety of project types.

ResponsibilitiesCreate full working Plan Sets for Commercial Modular Construction in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environmentPerform the large majority of design projects and responsibilities within Revit softwareInteract professionally with Customers, Coworkers, and State AgenciesAssist with shop drawings review as neededApply ICC Building Code knowledge to ensure all designs are accurate and to-codeEssential SkillsProficiency in Revit - Must be able to draw within the software, but does not need to be an expertProficiency in Excel - Must be able to manage project documentation efficiently and effectivelyGood Communication - Must be able to collaborate with external and internal teamsPreferred Experience - Experience within Construction, BIM, or Building ProcessesWork Environment

The work environment includes typical hours of 7-4:30, with flexibility for earlier start times or overtime as self-sufficiency develops. The engineering team, finance team, and upper management work out of a collaborative office building with cubicles and offices. The culture is fun and laid back, yet fast-paced and production-focused. This person will be working next-door to the shop, so it's easy to coordinate design and construction questions. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
