Revit Technician
Job Title: Revit TechnicianJob Description

We are currently searching for a Revit Technician to join our Water/Wastewater team in Hollywood. This Revit Technician will support water and wastewater treatment-related projects, primarily focusing on developing design drawings and providing support during project planning in the form of figures. Duties may include civil, mechanical, and structural drafting of water/wastewater treatment systems, process piping, distribution/collection systems, pumping systems, stormwater systems, and other municipal utility designs.

ResponsibilitiesDrafting and designing basic redlines.Assist in the design of civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines.Learning more advanced skills within Revit and AutoCAD.Printing and compiling files.Assist in drafting for all water/wastewater treatment plants, infrastructure, and pipeline projects.Essential Skills1 year of Revit experience or formal Revit training through a certification program or technical degree.Experience with underground piping, civil, or survey is a plus.Reliable, detail-oriented, self-starter who takes ownership of assigned tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.Work Environment

This person will work in an office with other engineers, drafters, field staff, and admins. They will support work for teams all over the country. Our designers work on a wide variety of projects, including client meetings and site visits, in an open-door environment with very few layers of management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Retirement Savings Plan
Saving for retirement is important. You are eligible to participate upon your date of hire; there is no waiting period. You can contribute to the 401(k) on a pre-tax or Roth (after-tax) basis up to IRS limits. Hazen maintains an Employer Contribution Plan which helps you to save more. Employees become eligible for the employer contribution after 1,000 hours worked in a 12-month period. Each year, Hazen determines the amount of the employer contribution.

Adoption Assistance Benefit
Hazen will reimburse up to $5,000 per child for eligible expenses related to the adoption process, up to a lifetime maximum of $10,000 per eligible employee.

Professional Development/ Tuition Reimbursement Benefit
Hazen has a Professional Development and Tuition Reimbursement Plan to encourage and assist you with furthering your professional education. Hazen will pay the full cost and expenses for short courses taken at the company’s request. In addition, after meeting certain criteria, Hazen will pay 100% for a B grade or higher and 50% for a C grade upon work-related course completion. Reimbursement is for the cost of basic tuition charges for college, university, or other courses taken at the employee’s initiative.
