Rewards Manager

This role reports to the HR Director and will be a strategic and hands on role focused on our Compensation & Benefits strategy. You will be an individual contributor and will work closely with the Global Rewards, the Singapore HR team and key business stakeholders to implement and support a competitive and relevant reward strategy to ensure it stays competitive in attracting and retaining talent.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

Develop, renew and implement the compensation & benefits programs, policies and guidelines in SingaporeLead and manage annual C&B campaigns, e.g. salary benchmarking / review, bonus, incentives, retention schemes, etc.Serve as a subject matter expert by providing expert level compensation and benefit consulting support to HR team and business leadersLead in the development, implementation and administration of short- and long-term incentives programs in SingaporeLead participation in market surveys and performance of market analysis to develop and recommend changes to programs, guidelines or practicesLead in the development, implementation and deployment of all local wellbeing initiatives in Singapore.

 

HR Operations

Lead the employee movement update in collaboration with the HR Business Partner and the Employee Services team to ensure smooth monthly payroll process.Collaborate with the Employee Services team to manage the local and expat employee tax matters ensuring compliance with local regulations including corresponding with the IRAS on related matters.Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements relating to CPF and tax by keeping abreast on the updates of relevant government bodies and legislations such as Central Provision Fund (CPF), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) etc.

 

Full and Final Settlements

Provide input on the final payment administration for all leaving employees including items related to final payment i.e. leave encashment, intermediate STI, withholding for tax, tax clearance, processing payment for tax liability to the IRAS and intermediate STI pay out for transfer cases.

Policies Management & Implementation

Owner of all local HR Policies and ensure alignment with local regulations (MOM, CPF, IRAS) in collaboration with local legal counsel where applicable.Review, update and design benefits policies and plans, ensuring that it is competitive and on top of market trends while maintaining internal equity and complianceAccountable for local deployment of global policiesPartner with benefits broker to review group insurance program annually to ensure programs are crafted to be competitive with market practice and enable Danone to attract, reward, retain and engage our employeesManage ongoing relationship with benefits broker and have regular contact to cover ongoing issues, requests and feedback

Annual Salary and Bonus Cycle

Drive and manage the annual salary review campaign, salary planning and bonus payout and bonus setting in SingaporeEnsure relevant communications to stakeholders with regards to changes in policies and guidelinesResponsible for the submission of Remuneration Survey data to MercerResponsible for the preparation of Singapore Reward Frame analysis (external market references, internal equity analysis, proposal of medians and building of merit matrix)Work with International Mobility team to validate Annual Salary Review for expats

Reporting and Budgeting

In-charge of quarterly rolling forecast of people cost budgetWork with department controllers and corporate finance to answer any queries or investigate discrepancies

HR Admin

Review of employee letters including but not limited to contracts, promotion letters, salary increment and bonus letters.Preparation of employment contract for Director’s level and above.Submission of MOM related surveysE-leave portal Administrator

The successful candidate must possess an understanding of effective global work styles and be able to achieve results in a matrixed, culturally diverse organisation and assimilate new information rapidly as business needs require while managing risks appropriately.
