**Job Title: Rewind Operator**
**Job Description**
Currently seeking a candidate for pharmaceutical labeling through the use of a Rewind Machine. Candidates will be sitting at a desk, isolated from much of the warehouse, performing general inspection of labeling and signing off on it. This job is very monotonous, repetitive and requires attention to detail. Operate rewind machinery and inspect rolls of printed products to ensure customer specifications and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lift label rolls onto rewind machinery.
+ Set up scanning equipment pursuant to job specifications.
+ Operate rewind machinery by depressing color-coded buttons to start and stop the rewind process.
+ Inspect labels for visual imperfections based on job specifications.
+ Remove defective labels and manually replace with proper horizontal and vertical positioning.
+ Replace long sequences of defective labels by splicing and re-taping pursuant to job specifications.
+ Fan folding labels to put in bundle form.
+ Review computer scanning of labels for non-visually detected imperfections. Make label adjustments and/or replacements accordingly.
+ Inspect back-numbered labels for proper sequence.
+ Air blasting labels for presence or lack of glue.
+ Cut appropriate cores at the length needed for the job.
+ Maintain traceability by completing paperwork adequately.
+ Rewind labels onto rolls after inspection is complete.
+ Train other co-workers as needed for production demands.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Some form of inspection experience is a plus.
+ Knowledge of printing production is a plus.
+ Experience with gluing systems and glue detection systems is a plus.
+ Experience with setting up sensors, scanners, and vision systems is a plus.
+ Packaging experience in the pharmaceutical or food packaging industry is a plus.
+ Must be able to use a computer to navigate through and understand specifications.

**Work Environment**
T-Shirt, Jeans, Tennis Shoes. Climate-controlled environment as the warehouse is humidified and climate-controlled per government regulations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals involved in a printing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. 2nd shift trains on first- 1 opening on second.

$17/HR
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
