SUMMARY
Ensure identifies product is brought into the packaging area is re-worked according to the status of each hold. All paperwork is filled out correctly and accurately with each hold that is reworked. All totes from the re-work are ticketed appropriately before leaving the staging area. All packaging monitor numbers are entered into the spreadsheet accurately and in a timely manner.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Responsibility to monitor work areas, watch for suspicious behavior and report any concerns regarding unidentified visitors and/or unauthorized personnel.Authority to question and take appropriate measures regarding the safety of themselves, other employees, products, and equipment.Responsibility of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the food processing facility, especially where any raw or finished product is produced.Authority to report and/or eliminate hazards to the safety of the food that is produced in the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations.Oversees all rework activity in the Packaging area.Print out all correct documents from WMS for each hold.Ensures that all rework paperwork is filled out correctly.Performs the inventory adjustments in the WMS system.Ensures tote tickets are properly completed and placed on each tote leaving the staging area.Ensures that all license plates are correct for each hold.Communicates with shipping in requesting identified product.Coordinates rework for each day.Performs warehouse moves on rework pallets and totes when necessary.Ensures the packaging monitor is filled out hourly.Assist tote room coordinator on balancing the tote room.Communicates with tote room coordinator on hourly tote counts.Communicates with control room to ensure hourly packaged pounds are accurate.Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job specific required training and monthly informational meetings.Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality process.Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company.Participates in continuous improvement process.Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and six (6) to twelve (12) months related experience and/or training.
Compensation Package: $19.27-$21.38 USD hourly + bonus eligible
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
Night Shift Differential Pay: $1.50/hr
