Job Description

Calibration of RF and EMC test equipment in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 40 GHzUndertake investigations of equipment that has failed calibration and effect repairs where appropriateCarry out and supervise calibrations for customers at their premisesProduce calibration certificatesAchieve and maintain the relevant competence levelsPerform validation and verification work as requiredCreation and maintenance of calibration proceduresPerform calibration development work under supervision of the Calibration Laboratory ManagerPerform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 as appropriatePerform any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the post holderMentor and/or supervise calibrations carried out by other calibration staff where appropriateEnsure that the engineer carries out their duties in accordance with all Eurofins ETC policies, procedures and processes, including, but not limited to, the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974)

 

Qualifications

HNC/Degree Electronics (or above)Significant work experience in Electronics (Design or Manufacturing) Previous RF calibration experience within a UKAS calibration lab (Desirable, but not essential)
