Why Consider This Job Opportunity

Resonant Inc. seeks an engineering intern to join our product integration team for winter of 2024/2025. You will work closely with a team of product engineers, device physicists, and RF designers. This is an excellent opportunity for you to become a key contributor to our dynamic organization and leverage your experience to solve high value problems over the course the winter of 2024/2025 at our San Mateo location.

The job will be flexible across different teams with a focus on device measurement analysis and circuit or physics model development and improvement.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Creating and using software tools for RF data analysis. Usage and evaluation of physics-based device models. Characterization of BAW resonators and filters. Data reduction and synthesis of conclusions. What Is Required (Qualifications) BS or BA in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field. An interest in RF component engineering and/or acoustic device engineering. Familiarity with scripted data analysis (Matlab, Python, or equivalent). Academic or industry background in RF electronics and/or semiconductor device engineering/physics. Some prior exposure to CAD for micro- or nano- structures. Some working knowledge of semiconductor processing methodologies. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Currently pursuing an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field. Academic or industry experience with piezoelectric devices (acoustic filters, sensors, MEMs). Academic or industry background in RF acoustic filter development and/or design. Experience with AWR, HFSS or similar schematic-based RF design tools. Travel

Travel between CA offices may be required. 

$25-$40/hr.
