Job Title: RF Electronics EngineerJob Description We are seeking a talented RF Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves designing, building, and testing electrical and radio frequency components and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with embedded systems design and testing, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++. Responsibilities + Design, build, and test electrical/radio frequency components and systems. + Create electrical diagrams, block diagrams, interface control documents, conceptual wiring diagrams, and detailed wiring diagrams. + Evaluate existing electrical systems through testing and implementation. + Program and implement Software Defined Radio (SDR) for generating EW waveforms. + Utilize test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. + Utilize CAD drafting products like Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar. Essential Skills + Familiarity with embedded systems design and testing. + Experience with embedded operating systems. + Proficiency in Python and C++, C#, and/or JavaScript. + Proficiency in using test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. + Experience with CAD drafting products like Autodesk Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not required). Work Environment Office and shop floor environment with travel to test locations such as Coronado and the California Desert. The work environment offers a small company atmosphere, startup vibe, and rapid prototyping opportunities, making it ideal for hands-on individuals. You will be joining as employee #5.
