RF Engineer
Job Title: RF EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer with over 5 years of research and development experience to contribute to and lead applied research and development programs. The ideal candidate will perform computational electromagnetics (CEM) modeling and design novel solutions to meet specified requirements. This role requires expertise in using various software for analysis and a broad understanding of RF materials, hardware, and measurement techniques. Responsibilities + Perform computational electromagnetics (CEM) modeling. + Design novel solutions using CEM to meet specified requirements. + Perform analysis with software such as CST, COMSOL, PMM, HFSS, FDTD, FEM. + Engineer novel RF materials and systems. + Design, fabricate, and test prototype RF materials and systems. + Design and build test fixtures and test bodies. + Perform RF measurements of materials and hardware. + Develop algorithms for signal processing and materials parameter extraction. + Support hands-on build, testing, and systems integration activities. + Perform antenna design, analysis, modeling, and simulation. + Communicate technical results, plans, and issues with internal and external customers. + Participate in multiple technical programs simultaneously. + Write reports and proposals. + Identify new business opportunities and support proposal writing. + Stay current in technology advancements and embrace growth opportunities. Essential Skills + Minimum 5 years of industry experience with RF or antenna design. + Proficiency in using CEM modeling software such as CST, COMSOL, PMM, HFSS, FDTD, FEM. + Strong understanding of RF materials, hardware, and measurement techniques. + Ability to design, fabricate, and test prototype RF materials and systems. + Experience in developing algorithms for signal processing and materials parameter extraction. + Ability to perform antenna design, analysis, modeling, and simulation. + Excellent communication skills for presenting technical results and writing reports. + Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university. + Exclusive US citizenship is required. + Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. + Proactive and reactive problem-solving skills. + Ability to quickly understand new technology areas. + Experience in proposal writing and opportunity identification.
