RF Engineer

Since our establishment, we have demonstrated and perfected our ability to manage the customer's needs, no matter how complex – offering exceptional service and the Precise solution.   Precise Systems is seeking an RF Engineer to assist with RF engineering, and Mechanical Engineering tasking. The candidate should be a self-starter preferably with experience working with the government. Individual will be expected to conduct RF related measurements, as well as provide SME knowledge on the function of RF related systems. The candidate should also be familiar with RF test equipment, familiar with RF related measurements, and have a working knowledge of RF theory/practical knowledge.   Preferred skills/Duties: Understanding of electrical circuits (Read and understand Circuit Schematics). Understanding of electrical theory (Voltage, Power, Current, Resistance). Understanding of RF circuits (Read and understand Circuit Schematics). Understanding of RF circuits and design (RF Power, attenuation, filters, diplexers, antennas, and loads). Understanding of antenna theory and design. Understanding of electrical test equipment (Multimeters, oscilloscopes, loads, power supplies). Understanding of RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Real Time Spectrum Analyzers, Network analyzers, etc.). Understanding of and ability to conduct basic RF measurements (RF Power, RF Frequencies, Occupied Bandwidth, modulation etc). Understanding of RF Communication standards (Modulation schemes and communication protocols). Would like them to have understanding of software programming for programming test equipment (Python and/or C++). Person shall have experience in parametric modeling, utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs—such as Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA. Experience includes modeling and defining parts and assemblies. Basic understanding of mechanical analysis such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Ability to identify mechanical failure modes to support Failure Mode Element Analysis (FMEA)   Desired Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Concentration on in microwave and radio frequency (RF) theory preferred    Desired Experience: 3 years related professional experience in microwave and radio frequency (RF) design

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
