RF Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an RF Hardware Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of advanced multi-function RF systems. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow researchers and engineers on multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in areas of focus including exploration and demonstration of Radar and EW/RF convergence. You will design and implement RF hardware under the guidance of experienced Engineers for operationally relevant environments.

Develop RF hardware systems through the entire development lifecycle, from system requirements definition to delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications.Design and implement hardware designs, supporting assembly, integration, and testing.Identify and select RF systems components such as active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, and cables.Conduct supporting analyses to inform and justify decisions, such as RF link budgets.Support assembly, initial operation, and check out of systems, including the definition of test requirements.Work on RF systems for airborne applications and other applications as needed.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Applicable knowledge of technical concepts related to RF systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.Experience in the delivery of advanced development hardware.Proficiency in working with multi-disciplinary teams and under tight deadlines.Experience in providing information for briefings and technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS).Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience; Master’s degree or equivalent experience.Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.Demonstrated experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, and physics modeling and simulation.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00
