RF Engineer
RF Engineer Job Description Location: Crane, IN Description This position will be chiefly responsible for designing, developing, and defining radar subsystem test systems and requirements. Responsibilities: • Review performance specification/performance requirements to identify test parameters necessary to establish RF Radar subsystems test capability • Write performance requirements • Assist in estimating the time and cost of engineering projects • Design multi-functional test stations capable of energizing/testing RF parameters • Using software interface, automate test stations to collect design specification data • Document testing process to ensure sustainability and compliance • Analyze test data related to RF specification parameters • Update performance requirements as necessary to meet ever changing needs • Review current test hardware for improvements and offer enhancement concepts for test hardware as needed Requirements: • Minimum of five Years' lab specific RF measurement experience • Knowledge/experience with Vector Network Analyzers, RF amplifier testing, and RF test fixtures, and switch matrix development • Advance understanding of RF test system development • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance Skills rf design, circuit design, test development, Rf, Electrical engineering, Radio frequency, Electrical design, Rf engineering, power supply, power supply design, analog design NICE TO HAVE: DoD experience Test development for Radar Systems Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
