This role involves creating and optimizing RF components such as receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Key Responsibilities: + Architect and design RF systems and circuitry. + Develop RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. + Handle hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and testing. + Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze and test RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. + Provide input to Product Development for formal documentation. + Support manufacturing during the assembly and testing phases. + Develop RF System/Subsystem Architectures, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment. + Conduct RF system/subsystem/component trade studies. JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: ELIGIBLE FOR A SECURITY CLEARANCE + Extensive experience in designing and developing RF systems and circuitry. + In-depth knowledge of high-frequency and microwave applications. + Expertise in hardware layout, component evaluation, and prototype construction. + Proficiency in preparing and analyzing test methods and specifications. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. + Ability to conduct RF system/subsystem/component trade studies. + Familiarity with RF System/Subsystem Architectures, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment. + BS with 4-8 years of experience or MS with 2-6 years of experience in: + General RF knowledge + RF design of amplifiers + RF systems + Synthesizers + CCA design Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
