MFC Dallas is seeking an experienced RF Circuit Card Design Engineer to develop an advanced circuit card solution for next-generation systems. Specific required experience is with complex, mixed-signal, and RF circuit card design.

What You Will Be Doing

This position demands a high degree of expertise with schematic capture as well as with simulation and analysis tools including such as CST, HFSS, CADFEKO, or another electromagnetic simulation environment to bolster design confidence prior to executing board manufacture.

The RF Circuit Design Engineer should also have experience and remain engaged with system level designers while shaping and designing system link analysis/budgeting and frequency planning at the system level.

Experience with component selection, and tolerance/reliability analyses consistent with MIL SPEC RF Designs is a must.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-pace design environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Demonstrated history of performance with mmWave Circuit Card Design and Transceiver Design Experience.

• Experience with Mentor Graphics / Siemens Xpedition or equivalent for schematic capture and layout.

Experience with CST ( or equivalent ) Simulation of Circuit Card Design.

Experience with ADS (or equivalent) Simulation of Circuit Card Design.

• Experience of CCA design and integration with testing tools including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Data Acquisition devices, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.

• Familiarity or experience with parts and materials selections for RF CCA designs



** A Final Secret Clearance is required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• Experience deriving test requirements for mixed-signal CCA designs

• Experience capturing flowed and derived requirements for mixed-signal CCA designs

• Experience with Mentor Graphics Siemens Hyperlynx or equivalent for signal and power integrity analysis.

• Military Spec CCA Design experience, specifically with RF and mixed-signal CCA design(s)

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of design engineers and internal stakeholders at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with little oversight in a fast paced, dynamic and agile environment to meet an aggressive schedule

• Self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on the program and operate with minimal direct supervision

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
