We are looking for a highly motivated Principal IC Design Engineer/Lead to contribute to Diversity Receive (DRX) designs. You will work with other analog/RFIC and module designers for simulation and making measurement of IC. This person will be responsible for developing LNA and RF Switches for RF front end applications. As an RFIC Engineer you will be responsible for the analysis, design, simulation and development of RF LNA and SW IPs for next generation mobile devices using SOI, SiGe and other technologies. The Candidate will be expected to innovate and work in a fast-paced market to help to define and realize products. Candidate will be often expected to lead chips.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 12 yrs. of RFIC Design Experience University level course work in Microwaves and RFIC design including LNA, PA, switches, filters, matching networks and T lines Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with other members of the product development team Deep understanding of RF and microwave theories and concepts, such as S-parameters, transmission lines, couplers, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonance, noise, linearity, stability Deep understanding of device physics, modelling and process technologies Proficient using RF design tools such as Cadence ADE, Keysight ADS, EMX, ADS Momentum, HFSS, etc Understanding and insight into packaging and modeling A self-starter with a chip lead experience Preferred Qualifications Master's degree plus 8 yrs. or PhD plus 5 yrs. in RFIC design including 2-3 yrs. chip lead experience Experience with 10 SOI/SiGe tape outs from concept to production Familiarity with RF communication systems and transceiver architectures Hands on lab measurement experience Understanding or experience in Analog design of regulators, bandgap, charge pumps, digital logic design

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
