Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RF Technician to test and analyze electro/mechanical devices to meet RF and electrical specifications. The ideal candidate will perform VSWR, insertion loss, impedance, and other testing for small electrical components, while maintaining quality assurance records and documentation. This role involves verifying conformance of finished work to customer needs according to planning and work order instructions and specifications. Additionally, the technician will have the opportunity to train other technicians.

ResponsibilitiesTest and analyze electro/mechanical devices to meet RF and electrical specifications.Perform VSWR, insertion loss, impedance, and other testing for small electrical components.Maintain quality assurance records and documentation changes.Verify conformance of finished work to meet customer needs according to planning and work order instructions and specifications.Train other technicians as needed.Essential SkillsAssociate of Science Degree in Electronics or 5 years equivalent experience.2 years experience in VSWR, insertion, and impedance testing.Experience with micrometer, calipers, and interface gauges.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot electromechanical systems down to component level.Proficiency with oscilloscope, RF, schematic, test equipment, radio frequency, RF test, VNA testing, electrical, spectrum analyzer, soldering, RF testing, electromechanical systems, LabVIEW, HP 8510, network analysis, documentation control, MMC iTune, IQSTAR, and blueprint.Additional Skills & QualificationsRF theory knowledge is a plus.Able to effectively communicate with others in various technical disciplines within the company.Work Environment

The team consists of 6 people in assembly, 2 mechanical assemblers, and 1 sustaining engineer. The work is conducted 100% on-site in an assembly environment. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with 1-2 hours of overtime a day during busy times. Occasionally, there are 3-4 hours of work on Saturdays, depending on workload. The team is informed by Thursday if Saturday work is required. This role offers opportunities for overtime and career development in a market-leading company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.50/hr.
