Our growing, state-of-the-art facility in Deland, FL has an exciting, newly created opportunity for a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. The Test Engineer develops and implements technical solutions that are innovative, thorough, and practical to a range of technical problems in a cross-functional teaching environment. We are looking for a multi-disciplined, multi-talented Test Engineer who can develop and run tests for electronic hardware assembles and PCB’s.

What you will do:
Design and optimize test and assembly processes for quality, capacity, cost, and safety
Understand customer product specifications & system requirements and create related test requirements
Perform system verification and validation testing, data analysis and reporting, discrepancy reporting and corrective actions to ensure production readiness
Support manufacturing floor daily operations and drive continuous improvement of key production cells
Optimize the production process, product design using a robust lean problem-solving methodology, with quantifiable impact to business metrics
Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement solutions, monitor sustainability of actions, and report out results
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop component designs and repairs to meet internal and customer requirements for cost, performance, and quality
Actively support production personnel in the set-up and debugging process for new applications
Experience with electrical test equipment required (oscilloscopes, signal generators, data acquisition, ammeters, and voltmeters) is required
Program microcontroller-based control boards and perform step-by-step testing to validate and analyze code and product performance
Perform various documentation tasks including generating test reports and updating schematics and BOM’s
