RF Test EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Test Engineer to join our specialized technical team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test plans for complex products and solutions to ensure compliance with applicable specifications. This role involves combining customer needs with system test solutions, coordinating integrated testing activities, and providing continuous engineering support.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify and recommend product and solution characteristics that optimize testing ability and provide test data for diagnostic purposes.Combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Develop and direct the preparation and execution of test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.Coordinate integrated testing activities.Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure test program completion.Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.Provide continuous enhancement and engineering support to the Joint Navigation Warfare Center.Develop, create, and execute software test plans; manage hardware configuration.Perform requirements analysis, system design, and maintain system configuration.Perform equipment and software installations.Develop implementation plans, software, and documentation.Produce and edit various technical documents including technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications.Generate NAVWAR RF testing environments in accordance with laws, policy, and predefined test parameters.Work as a member of a small specialized technical team performing full life-cycle system development support in a rapid development/rapid fielding environment.Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, and referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.Provide configuration management support for technical documentation.Work closely with Government Systems personnel and managers on various projects.Essential SkillsSoftware testingHardware configurationRF testingTest engineeringTest equipmentTest developmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsDegree in engineering, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, math, statistics or related field.12+ years of related experience.Current security clearance.Quality Engineer Certification (CQE) or equivalent preferred.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $130000.00
