Job Description
We are seeking a skilled RF Test Engineer with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong in RF testing and troubleshooting, as well as experience with RF test equipment and basic software skills. This role involves hands-on hardware testing, data analysis, and collaboration with various teams to improve hardware and testing processes.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot RF issues during the test of advanced RF modules.Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.Analyze test data and identify early trends.Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions.Collaborate with design/manufacturing engineering for hardware and test improvements.Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.Essential SkillsExperience with RF test equipment (oscilloscope, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer).Familiarity with basic concepts of RF circuit design and troubleshooting.Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance.Experience with automation hardware testing.Basic software skills in C-Family Languages, Python, or Matlab.Additional Skills & QualificationsNi/Teststand software experience (preferred but not mandatory).Strong communication skills to effectively convey results to an audience.Work Environment
90% of this job will take place inside the RF Testing Lab, performing hands-on hardware testing. The remaining 10% will involve data analysis, project management, and documentation. This position requires a focus on cost, schedule, and quality while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00
