Job Summary This position is on a short-term contract that may lead to other opportunities. We are seeking a highly skilled RH 3scale API Management Senior Consultant to support our team in delivering robust integration solutions. This role focuses on Red Hat Integration technologies for microservices-based applications and involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing API management and messaging solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with clients to ensure seamless integration and effective management of enterprise APIs, streams, and connectors. Position: 1099 Consultant/Short-Term Citizenship: U.S. citizenship Location: Remote Clearance: R equired to comply with federal contract requirements Key Responsibilities: + API Management: + Design, implement, and manage Red Hat 3scale API Management solutions. + Optimize API gateway configurations for performance and security. + Integration Development: + Configure and deploy Camel Kafka Connectors for seamless data streaming. + Develop and manage Kafka Topics for scalable event-driven architectures. + Implement AMQ Streams for high-throughput messaging solutions. + Database Integration: + Utilize Debezium SQL Connectors for change data capture and database synchronization. + Technical Expertise: + Provide expertise in Red Hat Integration technologies tailored for microservices-based architectures. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex API and messaging integration issues. + Collaboration: + Work in a remote delivery team environment while coordinating with VA stakeholders. + Participate in technical discussions, providing guidance on best practices and implementation strategies. Required Qualifications: + U.S. Citizenship (required to comply with federal contract requirements). + Strong experience with Red Hat 3scale API Management and associated technologies. + Hands-on expertise with: + Camel Kafka Connector + Kafka Topic + AMQ Stream / Debezium SQL Connector + In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Integration tools for microservices-based applications. + Ability to pass a VA background check. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote delivery. Preferred Qualifications: + Red Hat Certified Specialist in API Management or other relevant certifications. + Previous experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal agencies. + Familiarity with additional Red Hat products and cloud-native solutions.
