Johnson Johnson (JJ) is recruiting for a Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (Rheum TA) Medical Affairs Intern located in Horsham, PA.

The internship is offered by the Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (TA) within JJ Immunology Medical Affairs. The Rheumatology TA supports JJ Immunology products approved for disease states including psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. The Internship Program is focused on providing industry-specific, practical scientific and analytical experience.

The Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (Rheum TA) Medical Affairs Intern will:

Work collaboratively with Rheum TA staff supporting ongoing projectsAssist with activities associated with study start-up, publications for JJ-sponsored studies, etc.Participate in ongoing Rheum TA team meetingsBe exposed to various other functions within the larger Medical Affairs, Research Development, and Commercial organizations (Immunology)

Johnson Johnson (JJ) is recruiting for a Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (Rheum TA) Medical Affairs Intern located in Horsham, PA.

The internship is offered by the Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (TA) within JJ Immunology Medical Affairs. The Rheumatology TA supports JJ Immunology products approved for disease states including psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. The Rheumatology Therapeutic Area (Rheum TA) Medical Affairs Intern will:

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing graduate study in PharmD, PhD, MPH or other master’s programsPosition will be based in Horsham, PA and involve approximately 8 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday (40-hour work week)Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the futureA minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is requiredCandidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasksCandidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a teamCandidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel (including a high proficiency with generating tables and graphs), and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills. Additional technical competencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems are highly desirable, as is experience with PubMed databases and other literature databases.Candidates with academic and/or industrial clinical trial experience are preferredParticipation in campus/community service activities is desired
