Ride Maintenance Supervisor $80,000-$95,000

· Ensures the safe operation of Park rides and attractions

· Ensures all new or transferred employees have been adequately trained to safely perform their work, and document all training as it occurs

· Conducts continuous safety inspections to identify and correct hazards

· Coordinates all mechanical maintenance as it relates to rides, machinery, equipment, welding and vehicles

· Ensures proper use of machines, tools and equipment, and ensures that the employees are properly instructed and trained

· Performs frequent daily site inspections of ongoing work, and review of upcoming work. Check Park areas frequently for any needed repairs and maintenance.

· Actively participates with the process of identifying, finding, ordering and storing parts and supplies.

· Communicates with other department staff members who have an interest in or may be affected by the work.

· Coaches and counseling employees as needed. Assists in termination decisions.

· Provides a work environment that demonstrates leadership, cooperation, policy enforcement, safety, communication, and motivation.

· Works closely with Ride Operations and the Operations Departments to ensure proper service.

· Works as Manager of the Day and Maintenance Manager on Duty for the Park.

· As needed, assists crews with daily tasks.

· Employee scheduling and enforcement.

· Reviews daily schedule, priorities, and estimates for ongoing and future projects with manager on a regular basis.

· Ensures that employees are properly trained on appropriate techniques and craftsmanship to ensure the productive use of time and equipment and duties are completed properly.

· Assists in accident / incident investigation as requested.

· Enforces and adheres to all Department and Park policies and guidelines.

· Assists other departments as requested.

· Open availability - ability to work multiple shifts
