Ride Operations Supervisor (Full Time) Starting at $24.00 per hour
Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in providing leadership within the Ride Operations department, to ensure delivery of a world class entertainment experience to our guests through friendly, clean, fast, and safe service.

Job Duties:Monitors the day-to-day operation of the Rides department; ensuring departmental and park goals are achievedProvides supervision, training, development, and evaluation for seasonal supervisors and teamsEnsures teams are proactively guest friendly and that guest first standards are followed and enforcedHandles guest concerns and responds to guest commentsMotivates teams to provide fast service; striving to consistently and safely achieve maximum hourly throughputEnsures compliance with safety standardsEnsures all training requirements and testing procedures are adhered to as set forth by Six Flags policies and proceduresMaintains and updates ride standard operating procedures and training materialsResponds to and oversees the coordination of ride shutdowns; serving as a liaison between Operations and Maintenance and between Six Flags and our guestsWorks closely with Maintenance to minimize ride downtime and maximize safety and rider throughput on all ridesOversees staffing, training and operation of Operations DispatchAssists with budget preparation, monitoring, and forecastingPersonally provides friendly, clean, fast, and safe service for park guestsServes as department / division MOD as assignedPerforms all other tasks and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum two to three years supervisory experience – preferably Operations relatedExcellent administrative skills, including organization, budget control, and time managementStrong communication skills, computer proficiency, and creative thinkerAbility to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient mannerExcellent motivational, leadership, and team-building skillsMust be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when neededMust be able to report to duty as needed, with limited notice during situations such as inclement weather preparation and recoveryAbility to stand for extended periods of time, walk the park on a continual basis, and work outside in varying weather conditionsValid NYS driver’s license with a clear driving recordAbility to operate a variety of equipment (company vehicles, cleaning equipment, etc.)High School diploma required and some college preferred
