JOB SUMMARY

The Rig Equipment Technician assists the Projects group with the rig up and rig down of drilling rigs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to assemble parts of equipment to prepare a rig for drilling. Assists the Forklift Operator with offloading and back loading of supply vehicles. Performs housekeeping activities including washing, chipping and painting. Assists Forklift Operator with moving and relocating supplies, pipe and other equipment which involves attaching slings and cables to the object being moved. Assists the project R/U team within the mud pit, mud pump, etc. Performs other general labor duties as assigned
