Rig-Up Operator (Class A CDL)
ROLE STATEMENT:   The Rig-Up Operator will be a member of the Field Operations Department and is responsible for ensuring location is prepared for Frac crew before arrival. Reporting to the Frac Manager, the Operator will focus on the safety and service quality of the rig in process and equipment.     SCHEDULE: Local and Rotational: 14 days on and 7 days off   SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide effective communication with management in the District regarding operations and continuous improvement initiatives Able to participate in the development of policies and procedures to meet operational service line requirements Assist in marking locations for 3rd parties to spot frac tanks Works with 3rd parties to set containment on location Coordinates movement and spotting of sandmasters on location Delivers and sets Calfrac containment when needed Oversees any location cleanup required by Calfrac Ensures operational status and maintenance of sandmasters Supervises between 2 to 4 people to complete above task Manage assignments to meet customer requirements to achieve corporate mandate of “Service First” Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives   KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES: A highly energetic, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment that is deadline driven; more importantly is centered on providing quality information Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills Must be able to interact effectively and work comfortably with field, branch, head office staff and senior management Strong leadership, mentoring and delegation skills Comfortable in a time-sensitive, project driven, team based environment Ability to challenge assumptions backed by a strong business acumen and strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation and an ability to work well with all levels of the organization Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment Team player with the ability to conduct work with utmost confidentiality and professionalism • Works and inspires others to work at high performance levels   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  2+ years of related and progressive work experience Oilfield equipment operation experience a plus Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
