**Job Title: Rigger** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo on and off ships, working with chain falls, pulleys, and winches, and performing repairs on these pieces of equipment. **Responsibilities** + Loading and unloading cargo on and off ships + Working with chain falls, pulleys, and winches + Performing repairs on chain falls, pulleys, and winches + Securing, fastening, and locking chains, ropes, and equipment + Handling heavy machinery and ensuring safe operations **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years experience as a Rigger or in a related role + Ability to read and interpret prints + Experience with chain falls, pulleys, and winches + OSHA certification + DBIDS eligibility **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a Boatswain's Mate + Knowledge of securing, fastening, and locking procedures for chains, ropes, and knots **Why Work Here?** Join our team and work in a dynamic and challenging environment. The work environment requires handling heavy machinery and adhering to safety protocols. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
