Job Description:

Location: Saco, Maine

CoWorx Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Rigger – Manufacturing Operator to join our production team in Saco, ME. This position is responsible for the production of basic splices, unassisted, and ensuring all products meet quality standards before adding value. The ideal candidate will have experience in splicing, rigging, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

-Adhere to Yale safety policies at all times
-Inspect and approve products as suitable before adding additional value
-Familiarity with all cataloged products and reconcile product descriptions, bills of materials, and maintenance images
-Read and execute splicing instructions from drawings
-Perform various splicing techniques including basic splices, double braid splices, single braid splices, and Yale whiplock
-Properly tag, label, and package orders according to company guidelines
-Maintain accurate paperwork and records related to inventory, production, and scheduling
-Provide training to personnel as directed
-Understand and uphold Yale’s quality assurance and packaging standards
-Maintain splicer certification
-Complete additional tasks as assigned

Desired Background/Skills:

-Previous splicing and rigging experience preferred
-Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
-Ability to read technical drawings
-Able to follow detailed operating instructions and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
-Physical capability to bend, stand, kneel, twist, pull, and work overhead
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
-Must comply with company quality assurance and packaging expectations
-Must obtain and maintain splicer certification

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:45 PM
