Come join us! **Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:** + Perform a range of right of way work to support public sector projects. + The work progresses from administrative and basic support work to complex, politically sensitive, multi-disciplined transactions and project management functions. + The negotiator will either perform the work, coordinate, or support others performing the work, depending upon the project, task, and ability of the particular negotiator. + The negotiator may perform the same functions of the right of way assistant as needed, but will primarily be the project team member that specifically coordinates efforts with property owners tenants, and other stakeholders as needed. + They will review and understand title strategies, and facilitate/assist with other regulatory activities in conjunction with client and project requirements. **Location -** Chattanooga, TN-S5193 **Requirements** **Minimum Requirements:** + Associate degree or one-two plus years of Right of Way negotiator experience or equivalent combination. TDOT right of way experience required. + One year ROW negotiator experience is required + Will not accept another level of degree with more years of experience- post high school degree needed with TDOT right of way experience. + 1 year right of way negotiation **Technical Requirements:** + Must have valid drivers license, Must have automobile liability insurance to meet Atlas requirements. + Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills. Must be able to write clearly and prepare reports & correspondence. + Microsoft office, GIS Mapping, read roadway construction plans, Deeds, Plats + FHWA Uniform Act **Miscellaneous Qualities:** + Ability to travel 75% within territory (positions can be based in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Murfreesboro, Nashville, or Jackson, TN areas). + Good listener and able to establish personal confidence. **Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are at the core of our purpose & values** We are committed to enhancing the lives of our employees, customers, shareholders, and the communities where we live and work.
