Overview GENERAL DESCRIPTION The RISE Grant Manager is a grant-funded position responsible for program development, implementation, and maintenance of the RISE Grant, including writing policy and process, managing grant operations, cultivating community resource relationships, and ensuring the program objectives are achieved to the standard of all involved agencies. The RISE Grant Manager will facilitate the program with experience, compassion, and a unique understanding of obstacles and situations that impede a non-custodial parent’s personal growth and involvement to address the barriers to obtaining stable and secure employment by utilizing a comprehensive variety of support services. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or six (6) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two (2) years of experience in a related field. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A Valid Driver’s License Motor Vehicle Report verifying driving history that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting. OTHER REQUIREMENTS The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare.
