RISE Open Fan Program Management - Operations Leader
Job Description SummaryThe RISE Open Fan Operations Leader will be responsible for program management and engineering execution across GE Aerospace’s RISE Open Fan technology maturation program. The role reports to the Strategic Operations Leader within the GE Aerospace Advanced Technologies / Future of Flight Organization and is essential towards maturing aerospace technologies foundational to realizing the aviation industry’s sustainability goals in the first half of the 21st century.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the RISE Open Fan Operations Leader, you will:

Collaborate with a global engineering team to plan and evaluate program operations across a diverse range of technology development projectsOwn the consolidation and communication of program management deliverables (schedule, budget, forecasts, actuals, …) with a keen attention to detail and ability to look at complex data through a diversity of lensesEffectively lead operational cadences within a tiered structure; facilitate problem solving and action planning at an appropriate level for the forumLead change management forums and quickly draw connections in terms of downstream impacts of changeParticipate in risk management activities and proactively identify non-technical riskBecome an expert in GE’s core program management tools including, but not limited to: Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft Excel, and SpotfireAct as a resource for colleagues with less program management experienceDevelop and maintain a strong network across GE Aerospace, global sites, and affiliate businessesCollaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersFoster an environment of continuous improvement across GE Aerospace's operational practices; seek standardization where appropriate andPresent results to internal (GE) and external (customer, agency, government, …) customers

Additionally, you will be responsible to continually grow yourself, personally and professionally, through training opportunities, mentorship, and formal career path definition.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering accredited college or universityMinimum of 3 years' experience in engineering or engineering program / project management
